But how can you tell what\u2019s urgent and what isn\u2019t? Ultimately, it\u2019s a good idea to give them a call if anything feels painful or wrong. A few examples include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Toothaches<\/li><li>A loose bracket<\/li><li>A broken wire<\/li><li>A poking wire<\/li><li>A broken ligature<\/li><li>Loose teeth<\/li><li>A broken or lost retainer<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There are also some orthodontic emergencies that necessitate an appointment but can maybe wait a day or two if needed, like mouth sores.
