Dr. Samara Aoun
Dr. Samara Aoun is an orthodontist at Super Braces of Lawrence. Born and raised in Massachusetts, she is thrilled to serve patients and families in the community she calls home.
Dr. Samara earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Boston and her Master of Science in Oral Health Sciences from Boston University School of Dental Medicine. She then received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she also completed advanced specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Throughout her education, Dr. Samara received several honors recognizing her academic achievement and dedication to serving others. These include the Dr. Everett Shapiro Award for her commitment to orthodontics and the Dr. Edward Austin Scholarship for her community outreach and service to underserved populations. She also earned Dean’s List honors and merit scholarships at both Tufts and Boston University.
Dr. Samara is affiliated with the American Association of Orthodontists, the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association.
Her favorite part of orthodontics is seeing how a new smile can transform the way someone feels about themselves. She loves watching her patients’ confidence grow throughout treatment and values the relationships she builds with them and their families along the way.
Dr. Samara speaks both English and Portuguese. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, discovering new restaurants, playing volleyball and spending time with family and friends. She is excited to be part of the Super Braces family and looks forward to creating many wonderful memories with her patients and team.
